Overview

Still200 is an uptime monitoring app built by Bytes Lab, a one-person iOS and backend studio. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used. We believe in transparency and we've written this in plain language.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use Still200:

• Monitor configuration — the URLs, check intervals, and notification preferences you set up in the app. This data is stored to provide the core service.
• Check results — the HTTP status codes, response times, and timestamps returned when we ping your monitored endpoints. This is the core data the app displays to you.
• Device token — an APNs (Apple Push Notification service) device token, used solely to deliver push notifications to your device when a monitor changes state.
• Usage data — basic, anonymised app usage signals (e.g. feature interactions) collected via crash reporting and analytics tools to help us improve the app. This data cannot be linked back to you individually.

How we use your information

The data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Running scheduled checks against your monitored URLs
• Displaying uptime history, response logs, and incident data to you
• Sending push notifications when a monitor's status changes
• Diagnosing crashes and improving app stability
• Responding to support requests you initiate

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating and improving Still200.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored with reputable third-party cloud infrastructure providers. All providers are required to maintain strong security practices including encryption at rest and in transit.

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Third-party services

Still200 relies on the following third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Cloud database provider — stores your monitor configurations and check results
• Cloud hosting provider — runs the application servers that perform checks
• Apple push notification infrastructure — delivers alerts to your device

We do not share your data with any other third parties, including analytics platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers.

Data retention

Check logs and incident records are retained for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Monitor configurations and device tokens are retained for as long as you use the app.

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will action the request within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right to access the personal data we hold about you
• The right to correct inaccurate data
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to data portability
• The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
